The Chewa people from central Malawi live in extreme poverty, with chronic food shortages and desperately high rates of infection from HIV/AIDS.

The images within this exhibition are of The Chewa people in central Malawi living in the region of Nkhotakota. I had the pleasure of living in the Mgwhindi village for some time whilst working on assignment for Concern Worldwide earlier this year.

David is a self taught Photojournalist from Glasgow, where he currently lives for most of the year with his wife Kirsty and two sons Cameron (aged 4) and Brodie (aged 2).
